PADI Adventure in Diving Course

PADI Adventure Diver

The Adventure in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

If you complete any 3 adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your deep adventure dive, underwater navigation adventure dive and 3 adventure dives for a total of 5, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Why PADI Adventure Diver?

Have you always wanted to try underwater photography? How about wreck diving? Hereâ€™s your chance because you can sample 3 dives of your choice, get a taste of what you like, feel more comfort in the water, strengthening your underwater skills and letting you enjoy diving more than ever.

What do I need to start?

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
Minimum age: 15 years old (10 for PADI Junior Adventure Diver)

What will I do?

This certification includes 3 of the following adventure dives.

Adventure dives to 10 years old and older;

Aware - fish identification
Underwater naturalist
Boat diver
Underwater navigator
Peak performance buoyancy
Underwater photography

Additional adventure dives available dives to diver 12 years old and older:

Altitude diver
Multilevel diver
Deep diver
Night diver
Diver propulsion
Search and recovery diver
Drift diver
Underwater videography
Dry suit diver
Wreck diver

How long will it take?

Recommended course hours: 9
Maximum open water training: 3 dives over 1 day

What will I need?

Adventures in diving crew-pak (included in price)
Adventures in diving video or DVD (included in price)
Log book.

Where can I go from here?

After your PADI Adventure in Diving certification you can take the next step by completing 2 more adventure dives. If you've completed 5 total adventure dives that include deep and navigation, youâ€™re on the way to being an Advanced Open Water diver.

PADI Adventure dives can also count towards PADI Speciality Diver Certification. If you like your Night Adventure Diver so much that you wanted to take and complete PADI Night Diver Speciality course - your night adventure can count as the first dive of the speciality.
